Message #56295
[Bug 901874] Re: Cannot rename file names after hitting f2.
I don't see anything immediately obvious from your list of installed packages. To rule out your specific configuration and session: Could you create a new user, log in as the new user and test whether you can reproduce the problem?

Title:
Cannot rename file names after hitting f2.
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After hitting f2 to rename a file, i cannot move the cursor with the arrows or even start typing letters.
The root name remains selected until i click on another file.
I have to log out and log in again to be able to edit file names. But this works only once. After renaming one file,
renaming another one is again impossible.
