I'm affected too by this bug.

I attach a screenshot where nautilus show how the trash is empty but
Unity trash icon appears as dirty

Bug description:
  Click on Empty Trash, all the files can be deleted. But there is the
  problem.. The trash icon apearance is like it's dirty and opening the
  nautilus trash page you can see it clean but the Empty Trash button
  can be clicked.
