Title:
New apps don't seem to show in What's New

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
New for-purchase apps don't appear in What's New list for me.

The only new apps I've noticed in the For Purchase section since
11.10's release are a few Ubuntu books: "A Practical Guide to Ubuntu
Linux", "The Official Ubuntu Server Book", "The Official Ubuntu Book",
  and "Ubuntu Unleashed 2011 Edition".

But they don't show in What's New at all. And so of course don't
  appear in the front page.

Am I misremembering entirely? I'm pretty sure they are new post-
  release.
