Thanks a lot for taking the time to report this bug. The Nautilus icon
on the Unity launcher now features a progress bar when a length
copy/move operation is in progress. Given that this replaces the
original functionality, this bug can be considered fixed.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  Moving (and copying) file dialog has previously displayed the progress
  in the place of an icon. This was very useful, currently in Alpha 6
  default Nautilus icon is used, is it possible to bring the old
  'progress icon' back?
