  msn protocol behind proxy doesn't let send or receive messages

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I appear to be online to my contacts but i can't send or receive
  messages. Checked all proxy setup and it is ok with other
  applications. I tried even to uncheck in the proxy setup the "use same
  setting for all protocols" but the problem remains
