[Bug 879783] Re: gnome-system-monitor shows a process with 116% CPU load

 

This is normal behavior, but you can change it if you want. Open System
Monitor, select Preferences from the Edit menu, and on the processes tab
check the Divide CPU usage by CPU count checkbox. By default the full
CPU usage is CPU-CORE-COUNT*100%.

  I have heavy load an my laptop because virtualbox hangs with audio
  troubles. To find out I start banshee and this process take 116% CPU
  load. I have a 2core CPU inside.
