Title:
Empathy don't show Gtalk contacts but other contacs see Empathy's User
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I use ubuntu 10.04. The version of Empathy is 2.30.3-0ubuntu1. after Adding a gtalk account i've enable the account but empathy don't show the contacts list. I've forced to install the version 2.30.0.1-0ubuntu3 of Empathy and Empathy-common with sudo apt-get install empathy-common=2.30.0.1-0ubuntu3 and sudo apt-get install empathy=2.30.0.1-0ubuntu3 but the problem is the same, probably don't depends on this package. Adding another type of account like msn acconut empathy show contacts list and works well. Taking open empathy other contacts see who use empathy and if someone write something to user that use empathy client the chat window appears and works well without change to contacts list that don't appear.
Excuse for my very bad english.
