[Bug 267821] Re: nm-applet menu starts as scrolled entirely off the screen
It's likely that this problem has been fixed by the reimplementation of
the Network Manager menu as an indicator. If it hasn't, please take a
screenshot of the problem in 11.10 or Pangolin, attach it to this bug
report, and reopen it. Thanks.

Title:
nm-applet menu starts as scrolled entirely off the screen
Status in Ubuntu network, Bluetooth, keyboard menus:
Incomplete
Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
When clicking on the nm-applet icon with a large list of available
networks, the menu starts scrolled to the wrong position. In
particular, the menu is sized to take up the entire vertical size of
the screen, and the very last entry of the menu "Manual
Configuration..." appears underneath the "scroll up" button, so that
the menu essentially starts as an empty grey widget until the user
scrolls some or all of the menu down into view.
100% reproducible under hardy's network-manager-gnome 0.6.6-0ubuntu3
