[Bug 363328] Re: nm-applet display bug when switching signal strength
Is this bug still reproducible with NM 0.9? It would be useful to know
if this is seen on later releases, such as Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10, 11.04 or
11.10, in order to better redirect this to the correct person, as this
is an issue with the icons rather than purely with application code.

Title:
nm-applet display bug when switching signal strength
Status in Ubuntu network, Bluetooth, keyboard menus:
New
Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager-gnome
This is a graphical display bug, it does not impact performance only
perceived quality.
The NetworkManager Applet 0.7.0.100 "jiggles" when signal strength
adjusts back and forth between two different levels. (At least for the
3rd and 4th levels.) It might be because the graphics for 3 bars and 4
bars are not correctly aligned.
I'd expect the applet to adjust signal strengths without shifting
horizontally, "jiggling."
