Title:
network manager looses wireless connection, reconnect not possible
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After a certain time (approximately 8-12h) the wireless connection is
dropped. A reconnect does not work.
I have reported a similar issue with NM 0.7x and 0.8. The issue then
was, that the connection password for WPA2 was encrypted twice.
Was fixed in later releases and now it's back.
I haven't had time to verify in the source code but from what I see,
this seems pretty much the same bug.
Mitigation:
disable wireless
rfkill unblock all
enable wireless
(disable should not block wlan either)
