[Bug 820018] Re: Crashes when trying to search previous conversations

 

Thank you for taking time in filing the bug to make ubuntu better.
as you say crashes occur when you try to search previous conversation than open the apport from terminal and try to report that crash because it has the lost of info.
to enable apport run this command in terminal.
"sudo service apport start force_start=1"  and try to reproduce the crash.

  If I go to view/previous conversations, enter something in the For:
  box and click Find Empathy promptly crashes.
