optional-arg or filename flags
Status in “glib2.0” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Several Gnome applications give warning when started from terminal
(gnome-terminal/xterm) without parameters. This is annoying and hides
true bugs, as (I think) happens on
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/742516 with 30
duplicates.
e.g. : gimp

This seems to be relevant:

Or are all these bugs on those applications?
