Title:
VirtualBox makes X server crash with nvidia-current
Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
I just upgraded to 11.04.
I am running an AMD-64 with an NVidia GEForce graphics card in twin screen mode.
It seems to work OK (after some trouble getting Unity to work) but as soon as I start the VirtualBox Manager window the X server crashes.
I've tried installing the 173 version of the NVidia driver and it seems OK now.
It seems to do all I need at the moment so I'll leave it but maybe someone could advise me if there is anything I can do to switch to the current version.
Thanks.
