Title:
Memory leak in drivemount applet
Status in “gnome-applets” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
Applet's allocated memory increase by few KB each time I show panel
(auto hiding panel)
How to reproduce the bug:
1 Create new panel on the left side of screen
2 Change size of panel to 48 and set Auto hide, maybe you will have to change background to an image too (I'm not sure if this makes effect)
3 Add drivemount applet and run your favourite system monitoring application
4 Watch the size of drivemount applet, while showing and hiding panel (do it severeal times, try point cursor at applet and off it)
Of course, you MUST have at least one device mounted (so you can see icon)
I've looked at code but I haven't found nothing - I think author of
applet should know it better...
