Title:
Evolution does not update messaging indicator highlight if message
  status changes to "read"

Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: evolution

When I receive mail, Evolution highlights the messaging indicator
(correctly). However, if the unread status of that email changes to
"read" by some means other than me reading the email in Evolution
itself (for example, if I have Evolution showing GMail via IMAP, and
then I read the email in the GMail web interface), the messaging
indicator stays highlighted. This means that even though I've already
read the email (in the GMail web interface) and the email's status in
Evolution is "read" (i.e., Evolution *knows* that I've read the email,
and no longer displays it in bold), I still have to click on the
messaging indicator and then choose Evolution, to make the messaging
indicator realise that the email is read. Evolution should update the
indicator if a previously-unread email changes to "read" so that the
  indicator is no longer highlighted.
