[Bug 906712] Re: nautilus dir with subfolders marked with solid triangle

For people who have TB of data.

It would make it easier when looking through directories for files and
understanding folder structure. Most of the time you know what is in the
folder by the folder name so if there was a way to indicate there were
no sub folders, you would not have to open the folder to find out what
is in it.

A clear triangle would still keep the one click 'expand folder'
functionality.

Even thunar for Xfce in 'tree view' does not show a triangle for folders
with no subfolders . Although I think a clear triangle would be better
for nautilus to keep the one click 'expand folder' functionality in all
parts of nautilus.

I hate to say it but even File manager M$widoze does this.

Title:
nautilus dir with subfolders marked with solid triangle

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Nautilus shows folders with subfolders with a solid triangle next to
them. Shouldn't these folders not have a triangle next to them? or a
least a clear triangle to indicate there are no subfolders.

I tried sending this idea to brainstorm but they said it was a bug and
told me to post it here.
