Message #59540
[Bug 94969] Re: Rhythmbox daap shares are listing playlists only in alphabetical order
The playlists shared through Rhythmbox DAAP server are not listed in the
original sequential order they were originally created. Instead they are
displayed in alphabetical oder by Artist. The whole point of having a
playlist is that you can play it the original sequential order it was
created. As an option you can play it shuffled.

Title:
Rhythmbox daap shares are listing playlists only in alphabetical order
Status in The Rhythmbox Music Management Application:
Invalid
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I have two feisty boxes (on is powerpc-based, the other is
pentium4-based), and I'm sharing my music between the two with
rhythmbox. I've found that when I order the songs in a playlist on one
machine, they appear reversed when viewed from the other machine.
This is pretty annoying as some of my playlists include albumsets and
having these be reversed sucks.
