Title:
  Upgraded to 11.10 on december 20, Ubuntu software centr does not or
  very slowly start.

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After upgrading from 11.4 to 11.10 by way of Ubuntu update service
  (internet), the Ubuntu "softwarenentrum" starts very slowly or not.
  Ubuntu 11.4 worked better on Toshiba netbook NB250 with 2 GB working
  memory (ram).
