Title:
Folder unread message counts don't match reality or message pane
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
When accessing e-mail via imapx off of a Google Domains gmail account,
the message-read counts in the folder diverge from reality, and also
from the messages shown in the message pain over the course of a day.
To workaround, I do the following:
1. Close evolution (and check to make sure it's done with ps auxww | grep -i evolution)
2. rm ~/.local/share/evolution/mail/imapx/lukescharf@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@imap.gmail.com/.ev-store-summary ~/.local/share/evolution/mail/imapx/lukescharf@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@imap.gmail.com/folders.db
3. Restart evolution and check mail in all folders
Evolution's tight integration with Ubuntu unity is discouraging me
from changing to Thunderbird -- but this bug is driving me crazy.
Surely other people are experiencing it, as well.
