Just checking - do you still get the bugs if you add an
".is_audio_player" file to the root folder of the device, with the
contents:

audio_folders=MUSIC/
video_folders=VIDEO/
podcast_folders=PODCASTS/
folder_depth=2
output_formats=audio/mpeg,audio/x-aac,audio/x-ms-wma,video/mpeg,video/mp4

This sorted out my X series in Banshee.
