  WORKAROUND: Expand the right side of the text box to reveal the
  numbers and the red triangle disappears.

  WORKAROUND: Highlight the text box -> click Format -> Frame/Object...
  -> Borders tab -> under Spacing to contents uncheck Synchronize
  checkbox -> change the Left and Right combo boxes to 0.08" -> OK
  button

  AbiWord:
  What happens instead in AbiWord is the majority of the words are gone with the shapes replaced with empty boxes.
