Libreoffice 3.3 on both Ubuntu 10.10 and Windows XP .
I have received several docx files containing tables which do not display
correctly in Libreoffice.
The outline of the table cells is visible on the page, but the lines
themselves do not appear in print preview or when printed. The border style
is displayed as 'none', even though there is a border in the original word2007
document.
The same thing happens in openoffice.org 3.2.1, but the lines display
correctly in openoffice 3.3.

Hi,
could you attach one of those files, optimally with a screenshot
indicating where you'd expect the lines or, even better, a PDF showing
the correct rendering?
Thanks,
Peter

I've added attachments as requested. The libreoffice pdf was generated
in opensuse 11.2, but I've done the same on XP with the same results.
Also you will see that the page formatting is incorrect, with the Part 1
and part 2 headings on the wrong page.
John

3) What is expected to happen in LibreOffice Writer via the Terminal:
cd ~/Desktop && wget
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/789542/+attachment/2145810/+files/Bewertungsbogen%20Arbeitnehmer.docx
&& unoconv --listener && unoconv -f odt Bewertungsbogen\
Arbeitnehmer.docx && lowriter -nologo Bewertungsbogen\
Arbeitnehmer.docx Bewertungsbogen\ Arbeitnehmer.odt
The table on page 1's border should remain as displayed in the docx.
4) What happens instead is the border size remains the same but the
cell is split in half vertically, with the left half containing the
text with the cell border having a black outline, and the right half
having no content or black cell border.
