[Bug 796076] Re: When run as root [gksudo gedit <whatever>] gedit tries to open a 2nd 'untitled document 1'
I have the same problem here on Ubuntu 11.10, quite annoying.
Does anybody know where can I find the root's config file for gedit? I'm sure that causes the problem, because if I run "sudo gedit", the problem doesn't occur. However, starting graphical programs with "sudo" uses the user's config file, not the root's. (therefore should be avoided).
