  [oneiric] New received message window appears blank

Status in “telepathy-gabble” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  1) Get new message from someone on Google Talk
  2) Open conversation from indicator up near the clock
  3) Notice conversation window is blank, empty, can't view any text someone sent
  4) Close conversation window
  5) Double-click the contact from the Empathy window
  6) View last few lines of past conversation, which includes their 'new' message

  Expected behavior:
  1) Get new message from someone on Google Talk
  2) Open conversation from indicator up near the clock
  3) View new message, along with the last few lines of past conversation
