Message #61081
[Bug 882691] [NEW] Kubuntu can't turn on Wi-Fi on Acer Aspire One AOA101
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
The network manager says that wireless networking is off, and when I try to turn it on from the checkbox it doesn't turn on.
However, if I run "sudo ifconfig wlan0 up" and then "sudo iwlist wlan0 scan", it detects the access points around me (but stays off according to the network manager...).
sudo lshw -C network
*-network DISABLED
