Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Was setting up external monitor after installing nvidia
  driver(recommended) at the time of this writing, still unable to setup
  external monitor and save settings. after reboot, have to try to setup
  again.
