Title:
deja-dup-monitor crashed with SIGSEGV in g_spawn_async_with_pipes()
Status in “deja-dup” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I switched from using 12.04 Unity 3D to Unity 2D by switching accounts
when almost immediately gnome-setting-daemon crashed. This happened in
Unty 3D about two hours earlier due to obsolete libraries. I used
synaptic to upgrade these libraries to the latest version. These
crashes of gnome-settings-daemon in Unity 3D were not reportable as
bugs. But the crash of Gnome-setting-daemon in Unity 2D was
reportable.
As I was reporting that crash I got the message that Deja-dup-monitor
had closed unexpectedly. And it is reportable. I do not used Deja-
dup.
The two events may only be connected by their happening on Unity 2D
within minutes of each other. Daja-dup has not crashed on Unity 3D.
This is the first ime that I have run Unity 2D since converting my
test version of 11.10 into 12.04
