[Bug 881741] Re: Banshee freezes whenever Ubuntu One Music Store plugin is eneabled
I've updated U1MS but the problem is still there. I just tried the
--debug setting and it seems that U1MS likes to re-download all my files
and it will hang up my computer until it finishes. Maybe its because I
let Banshee write on ID3 tags (and I need to, because of the 'album
artist' setting), this would mean that the file-size is not the same, so
it thinks it's a diferent file and downloads it again. But maybe the
download time is too fast for my Internet conecction speed, so I guess
it just re-import the files from a hidden directory.

Title:
Banshee freezes whenever Ubuntu One Music Store plugin is eneabled
Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
On Ubuntu 11.10
How did I get the bug: Access Ubuntu One Music Store from Banshee; sync your files; restart Banshee.
What happens: Open Banshee and it freezes after a few seconds. It takes hours before it unfreezes (yes, it does unfreeze after a few hours of 100% CPU usage).
Temporary solution: Turn off the Ubuntu One Music Store.
Technical details: Terminal output just after enabling Ubuntu One Music Store:
** (Banshee:3833): DEBUG: SyncDaemon already running, initializing
SyncdaemonDaemon object
(Banshee:3833): libsoup-WARNING **: No feature manager for feature of type 'U1RequestChrome'
** (Banshee:3833): DEBUG: Loading the real store page
Then freezes
