Title:
  first time connected phone to computer it showed up as mass storage
  device now  after many attempts ubuntu will  not find it

Bug description:
  The phone when connected by USB cable brings up message that "wired
  network connected "  but nothing else . the first time I connected it
  there was no problem as it showed up as a mass storage device and was
  easily excepted and usable. I am using Ubuntu 11.10
