[Bug 909573] Crash report cannot be processed

  gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  On start up of 12.04 alpha 1 gnome-settings-daemon crashed. This
  results in a reduced graphical desktop environement, unity appears to
  load correctly but some icons are not visible in the launcher. Top
  menu bar has a grey colour not matching theme and the icons displayed
  in it are present however the 'cog' icon to select a number of options
  is not visible.
