Hi John! Choosing which mirror to use isn't something that's handled by
software-center. I would reassign the bug if I knew where it belongs,
but as it's something that can't be fixed in software-center I'll mark
the software-center task as invalid.

  iinet users default to "Server for Australia".

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

  I understand that the Server for Australia is outside the iinet
  freezone, so there is little benefit to iinet users in picking this
  mirror over an international mirror. It would be much better to pick
  the iinet mirror http://ftp.iinet.net.au/pub/ubuntu/

  This occurs with Lucid, Natty and iirc Oneric Alpha 1.
