[Bug 880842] Re: Not responding to some mouse click actions

Upon more investigation I found out that this was caused by a specific
extension I have enabled: Minimize On Start and Close 1.3.2

Disabling this extension solves the problem. I don't have this problem
in Ubuntu 10.10 where I use an up-to-date version of Thunderbird from
the Mozilla Team PPA. Probably something specific for Ubuntu 11.10 in
combination with this extension causes this problem.

** Summary changed:

- Not responding to some mouse click actions
+ Not showing context menus with extension Minimize On Start and Close

** Description changed:

I did a clean install of Ubuntu 11.10 and reuse my home partition. Now
- Thunderbird doesn't respond to some mouse click actions. The following
- mouse click actions no longer give the desired result:
+ Thunderbird doesn't show context menus when the extension "Minimize On
+ Start and Close" is enabled. The following mouse click actions no longer
+ give the desired result:

  - Right-clicking an email in the list of emails no longer shows a sub menu. Now I have to go to the menu bar and click on the "Message" menu item to get that menu.
  - Right-clicking the body of an email no longer shows the Message menu.
  - Right/Left-clicking the header items of an email (from, subject, to, cc, ...) no longer displays the corresponding menu's.
  - Right clicking folders in the left panel no longer shows menu's.
  - Some buttons in Thunderbird have a small down arrow on the right side of the button. Clicking this arrow should display a menu. Clicking this arrow no longer shows a menu.
