Not precisely...I made the command, plugged the device in, and the operation was done before I could get the device plugged in. It lasted about 1/2 a second. I did not get a udisk dump log, but I got this:

so you inserted your mp3 player while "gvfs-mount -lo" was running and
nothing displayed? can you get the udisk --dump log with it connected
and add the log to the bug?
