[Bug 911425] Re: Unsupported checksum type sur init ipod
I seem to have a similar problem.
I was given a new ipod 8gb 6th. gen which I tried to use with Rhythmbox - it recognised the ipod and seemed to be transferring podcasts but they didn't appear on the ipod when disconnected. I subsequently tried Banshee and GTKpod. They also recognised the ipod and showed podcasts stored on it, but nothing to show once it was disconnected. I noticed the GTKpod gave a "unsupported checksum type" message. Is this a clue to solving the problem? Any ideas how to work around this?
