[Bug 913488] Re: Gnome3 doesn't work on 64-bit Packard Bell EasyNote TN-65

This bug's title is fine as this whole bug report is only about Ubuntu.
Could you also attach your Xorg.0.log and syslog from /var/log folder to
his bug report? Your graphic card seems to be ATI Mobility Radeon HD
3430. Have you installed ati's own driver using the Additional drivers
tool? Does logging in to unity 2D desktop work? Thanks in advance.

** Changed in: gnome-session (Ubuntu)

Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Gnome3 does not work on Ubuntu 64-bit 11.10 on Packard Bell EasyNote TN-65. Logging into gnome3 session works but the desktop is pixelated, has strange and uneven color and it is impossible to read the labels. In short: unusable.
