[Bug 913755] Re: NetworkManager is not able to connect to eduroam

 

The settings are right, ı had used the same settings (TTLS and PAP) at
11.04 and was working fine. Machines (laptops, mobile phones) with the
same settings are working fine. I am giving more detail according to NM
debugging

Title:
  NetworkManager is not able to connect to eduroam

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After upgrading to 11.10 from 11.04, network manager stopped
  connecting to eduroam.

  I am using a usb wireless adapter which is automatically detected by
  Kubuntu:

  # lsusb

  My settings are;

  Security: Dynamic Wep (802.1x)
  Authentication: TTLS
  Inner Authentication: PAP

  The same settings was working with 11.04. The main problem can be identified with 
  CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=00:00:00:00:00:00 reason=3  line at the syslog. There is a related bug entry here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=490493
