Adding the following to the /apps/evolution/calendar/sources gconf key solved for me:

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  1.- ubuntu 11.10 32 bits fresh install

  2.- evolution:
    Installed: 3.2.0-0ubuntu2
    Candidate: 3.2.0-0ubuntu2
    Version table:
   *** 3.2.0-0ubuntu2 0
          500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

  3.- permit add on this computer
                             on the web
                              weather
                                Google  (missing) 
                               CalDAV (missing)

  there is a working around for google that work prefectly but the same
  step for caldav doens't work

  for google is ok

  for caldav for example yahoo is not ok ... it try to connect and
  finish but never showed in calendar
