can you please attach the auth_client log file with the bug report?
you can get it from help==> debugg menu.

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Upgraded to 11.10 (from 10.04 via 10.10, 11.04). On system startup I
get a dialogue saying:
"There was an error while trying to connect to the Telepathy Account
Manager. The error was:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote
application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy
blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network
connection was broken."
And I am unable to change my status to 'online'
