[Bug 903779] Re: When typing more than one line in a room (using Room->Join), it widens the window rather than enlarging the height of the text area.

It seems to me that the text entry area should grow in height until it
hits a pre-defined maximum size. When it grows in height by N pixels,
the chat history window should scroll down by N pixels as well so that
the last visible line of chat history never changes. In no case should
the entire chat window change size or position due to text being entered
into the text entry field.

Title:
When typing more than one line in a room (using Room->Join), it widens
the window rather than enlarging the height of the text area.

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When I'm in a Room (via Room->Join), and I am typing a message to be
sent to the room, the window grows in width rather than the text
wrapping and the text area growing in height.

This does not happen in regular chats.
