Title:
  When installing software in the Ubuntu Software Center it keeps
  getting stuck at changes beging applied

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  This first happened when I wanted to uninstall the openJava 7 JDK
  because the installtion of YaCy failed . It started deinstalling, but
  got stuck when applying the changes (or as it said in Dutch
  "Wjzigingen worden doorgevoerd"). The installation of YaCy failed
  because it was not possible to make a certain folder, but I cannot
  remember which one.

  When I tried installing Midori today the same thing happened. It got
  stuck on applying the changes.

  I am on Ubuntu 11.10 codename Oneiric Ocelot and the version of the
  package software-center is 5.0.1.4

  Thank you.
