[Bug 917165] Re: gnome-control-center does not allow selection of USB headset for input or output

Thank you for your bug report, do you have different profiles for it in
the hardware tab if you select the device? g-c-c didn't change, could be
a pulseaudio or kernel issue...

** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => Low

Title:
  gnome-control-center does not allow selection of USB headset for input
  or output

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  If I plug in my Logitech H530 USB Headset, it shows as "ClearChat Pro
  USB" under Hardware in 'gnome-control-center sound', but it does *not*
  show up as a valid input or output device if I click either the Input
  or Output tabs.

  On the input tab, the "Connector" menu only has 1 entry: "Analogue
  Input".

  This is a regression since Oneiric where it worked flawlessly.
