[Bug 909632] Re: gnome system monitor overloads the CPU

 

No, there was no disk in the drive.
The system's been updated 2 times since then with default updates that pop up from time to time. Today this doesn't happen. I'll monitor this one for few days and report back.

  gnome system monitor overloads the CPU

Status in “gnome-system-monitor” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I launch the "gnome system monitor" via "system load indicator" applet
  on the taskbar and it takes the whole CPU. The load is almost 100%. I
  have to login via crl+alt+F1 and kill it in htop. Also close buttom on
  system monitor doesn't work.
