Title:
  Software-center auto adds apps with no .desktops to launcher

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Software-center is now auto adding all installed apps to the unity
  launcher including those with no .desktop's, there is no longer any
  option to 'Not add to the launcher'

  Test case:
  Install 7zip thru S-C
  After install a non-functional launcher icon, (a ?) will be added.

  I'm sure there are others but ATM S-C is a bit of a pita to get to run
  so not worth checking, I'm sure S-c will be fairly consistent in this
  regard
