[Bug 908508] Re: Firefox/Thunderbird 10 FTBFS on powerpc in js/src/yarr/pcre

We might be able to get the patch in for the next beta release (towards
the end of the week), depending on how much non-PPC specific code it
touches. In any case, we don't normally do out-of-band uploads,
especially ones which have only PPC fixes, as they're basically a no-
change rebuild for all of the other architectures (which means an armel
builder tied up for an entire day for no reason, plus retriggering a
reupload of our build symbols).

This is becoming a pain though, as powerpc is breaking for every 6-week
Firefox release and we're having to land patches late in the beta cycle
to fix it (we're only 2 weeks away from the Firefox 10 release, which
isn't a great time to be landing any code changes at all). IMO we're
seriously going to have to consider skipping powerpc with some Firefox
releases, rather than compromising the stability and quality of our
other architectures.
