  gedit crashed with SIGABRT in raise()

Bug description:
  Gedit crashed during snippet completion. I see this on the console:

  
  TypeError: metaclass conflict: the metaclass of a derived class must be a (non-strict) subclass of the metaclasses of all its bases

  ERROR:/build/buildd/pygobject-3.0.3/gi/_gobject/pygobject.c:929:pygobject_new_full: assertion failed: (tp != NULL)

  Snippets is obvious issue here because it is  gedit python plugin. I
  would not discount another plugin though. I used the GDP Bazaar plugin
  a few minutes before.
