Stefano Vettori, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. Could you please attach the Word file, directly exported from
Word and before opening with LibreOffice Writer, that demonstrates this
problem?

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I'm using a file word with 2 columns and the index, without sections
  When I open it again the index isn't on columns, but on all the page and appear 2 section
  I cancel the 2 sections and the files works correctly until I exit and re-enter
