  3) What is expected to happen is when one creates the attached
  presentation in MS PowerPoint 2007 and saves in .ppt format, opens up
  attached example.ppt file in Impress, then runs the Slide Show, it
  looks the same as it does in Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2007 via
  WINE.

  4) What happens instead via the Terminal:

  cd ~/Desktop && wget

  is that some font sizes are larger in Impress than in MSPP.

  WORKAROUND: 1. Export PPT file from MS Power Point to PDF to view
  slide show in acroread or evince.

  WORKAROUND: Open PPT file in MS Power Point Viewer 2007 via WINE to
  view slideshow.
