Title:
sort order of applications not preserved upon moving forward/back
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I am reporting a bug in Software Center. This problem arises under the following circumstances:
1. A user searches for a term, and then applies a sort order other than the default to the search results. For example, changing from sort based on "By relevance" to a sort based on highest rating.
2. The user clicks on a particular application's "More Info" button.
3. The user then clicks on the "Back" button in the toolbar.
4. The sort order then returns to its default setting, i.e. "Relevance."
Expected behavior: In steps 3-4 above, the search results' sort order
should be preserved. That is, upon visiting a particular application
and then pressing the "Back" button in the toolbar, the sort order
should not change.
