  I cannot able to install new apps

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  When I try to install a new application from software centre, It gives
  the response that "Please Check the Internet Connection". But I
  already Connected to the internet and its in working condition.

  I encountered this problem today. i cant able to install any apps from
  software centre.

  please help me with that.
