Thanks for your bug report. Could you please run 'apport-collect 919738'
in a terminal? That will attach some system information to this report.
After you do that hopefully someone more familiar with debugging a
problem like this can determine what's wrong.

Bug description:
  Only once has the software center opened for me to uninstall a
  program.  Since that one time it is no longer operable.
